About

Ages of Dominion is a turn-based strategy game built by a small, passionate team. We believe strategy games are at their best when systems interlock — when your economic choices shape your military options, your doctrine investments define your victory path, and every turn presents meaningful decisions.

Vision

Most 4X games spread themselves thin across dozens of shallow systems. We take the opposite approach: fewer systems, but each one deep enough to matter. The doctrine tree is not a tech web you complete — it is a strategic identity you build. The combat system rewards unit composition, terrain usage, and morale management, not just bigger stacks.

Status

The simulation engine has finished M2: 159 systems across 25 domains, 75 components and 1,693 tests. All six doctrine trees are implemented with capstone effects, and so are the hybrid, triple-hybrid and meta-doctrine nodes. Dice-based combat with eleven formations and terrain movement costs is live, alongside a sea market, treaties you can play, royal houses and the generations they leave behind, and espionage from the spy in the street to the sabotage in the well. Presentation is in place — 3D terrain, audio, the minimap, the light theme. Online multiplayer is live on four servers, and the game installs as a web app with a native iOS build in closed TestFlight testing. We are preparing for closed alpha playtest.
